The FIFA World Cup 2026 marks the largest creative undertaking in our studio’s history.

 

Under the creative leadership of Marco Balich and in collaboration with Balich Wonder Studio, Carlos Navarrete-Patiño was appointed Global Creative Director of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Opening & Closing Ceremonies, leading the creative vision and development of one of the world’s largest live entertainment productions.

 

In addition to this global role, he also served as Show Director, Production Designer, and Costume Designer for the Mexico City Opening Ceremony, Creative Director, Production Designer, and Costume Designer for the Canada Opening Ceremony, Creative Director of the New York/New Jersey Closing Ceremony, and Creative Director, Show Director, Production Designer, and Costume Designer for the United States 250th Anniversary Celebration, shaping multiple landmark ceremonies across North America.
